SKP900 and NSPC001 add new key for 2014 Nissan Altima OK

This blog is a tutorial to add 2014 Nissan Altima new key using SKP900 Key Programmer and NSPC001 Nissan Pin Code Reader. Check below steps to start!

Step1. Power up SKP-900 key programmer and turn car ignition on. Choose “IMMOBILIZER” then select “NISSAN”,

Choose “SMART KEY 2013-”

Before program new key you should first use NSPC001 Nissan Automatic Pin Code Reader to get the 20 digit pin code. (When NSPC001 calculate 20 digit pin code, it needs token while calculating 4 and 5 digit pin code is free)

After you get the pin code, choose “ADAPT KEYLESS”.

Turn off ignition and turn on the car emergence switch. All keyless will be deleted. Press “Yes” button to continue.

Now enter the 20 digit pin code and confirm that.

Don’t step on the brake and keep pressing car start button until car ignition on. 

It is programming. Following the tips turn off ignition.

Use the keyless 1 top with Nissan logo click car start button then release. And press keyless 1 top to car start button within 10 seconds.

The immobilizer light is off. Click “Yes” to confirm. Turn ignition off. And keyless 1 is adapting success!

Click “Yes” to program next key keyless 2 with same procedure as keyless 1.

I have x-100 pro and it’s nowhere near as good as SKP900, also Tango in my opinion is much better for off car programming. SKP900 has very good OBD coverage especially American cars. Tango is superb for all difficult and on the bench. Moreover Tango is very good at EEPROM Applications.

I am a full time car mechanic, I used SKP-900 Key Programmer to test remote key for 2014 Ford Mustang. I think it’s useful and now writing to record the detail operation procedure.

Vehicle model: 2014 Ford Mustang

Equipment: SKP-900 Key Programmer

Here is the detail steps I followed:
Step1: Connect SKP-900 Key Programmer to the car, and turn it on, enter” SYSTEM SELECTION” and choose” IMMOBILIZER SYSTEM” (picture as follow)

Step2: Insert the car key into keyhole, and turn to the position “ON”, it will appear a new interface (picture as follow), just click “Yes” to continue.  communicating pls wait…

Step3: Clicking “DELETE KEY” when it enters into “FUNCTION SELECTION”
interface (picture as follow). Choose “Yes” to continue.

Step4:And click ”Yes” again to continue when the interface appears. (picture as follow)
Note: It may spend you about 10min waiting for the program.

Step5: After waiting for a long time, it pops out the message” INSRT THE 1^ST KEY,TURN IGN ON AND WAIT FOR 5 MIN”. Operating according to what it said and you would find that the light on (pictures as follow). Finally, choose” YES” to finish this step.

Step6: After the interface as follow appears. Insert car key again and turning the ignition on, you will find that the light on and off for a while.

Step7: Click ”No” to finish all procedure and go back to the main interface. Finally, try to test whether the remote key can work or not.

Congratulations! It’s working now!
